Newedge Finance Limited is an a financial service company that focuses on inclusive personal lending available to erstwhile excluded members of the society in Nigeria. The company uses financial research to drive its product to all strata of society and is assisted by an in-house effective risk responsibility analysis to make recommendations for financial performance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Supervisor

Locations: Kaduna and Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day HR activities and ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Monitor attendance, leave management, and staff records
• Coordinate recruitment processes (job postings, screening, interviews)
• Support hiring managers in selecting qualified candidates
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for new employees
• Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters
• Supervise and guide HR officers/assistants
• Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies
• Support audits and HR documentation reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, CIPM is an adanvatge
• 3–6 years of HR experience (with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role)
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
