UnoCasa Limited – Our client is a group of infrastructure companies with interests in construction, healthcare and facilities management. The company is expanding operations in the nearest future to include mining operations. The verticals exist to collaborate in order to deliver customer value at best pricing. The company optimises by sharing resources across HR, finance and legal.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description
They is undergoing transformation to improve business outcomes through:

  • Delivering better quality service to existing customers
  • Generating additional business within current service offerings and clientele
  • Implementing strategies for entering new markets and seizing opportunities available to it i.e. exploring its mining licence
  • Delivering all the above through a competent, collaborative and engaged workforce. This might include learning & development, recruitment and other engagement tools to drive performance.

About the Role

  • Our client is looking to hire an HR manager who will be the human capital business strategic partner of the company.
  • The HR Manager will own the development and implementation of a human resources strategy that identifies, hires, engages and grows the talent that will ensure the company accomplishes its goals. This is not limited to the how, when, where, how of people practices that best fits its peculiar business.
  • The HR Manager will also partner with leadership and key staff at various levels to drive culture, change management, communication and overall, business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit staff for skill gaps
  • Work with management to compose strategic goals into unit goals
  • Develop a policy backed performance management programme including rewards and incentives
  • Review and reward performance at scheduled intervals
  • Onboard and re-board employees
  • Recruit other roles where necessary
  • Conduct a range of soft and productivity training not limited to office etiquette, meeting etiquette, team work, time management

Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Human Resource Manager in Construction Industry
  • You must be a Self-Starter
  • The HR Manager must also be a strategic business partner.
