We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Supervision of Housekeeping Staff:

• Supervise room attendants, cleaners, and laundry staff.
• Assign daily cleaning tasks and monitor staff performance.

Room Inspection:

• Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors after cleaning to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
• Ensure rooms are properly arranged before guests check in.

Maintaining Cleanliness Standards:

• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
• Monitor cleaning procedures and correct mistakes when necessary.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

• Monitor housekeeping supplies such as toiletries, cleaning chemicals, towels, and linens.
• Request replenishment when items are running low.

Guest Service:

• Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping (extra towels, room cleaning, etc.).
• Ensure quick resolution of guest complaints related to cleanliness.

Reporting Maintenance Issues:

• Report damaged furniture, faulty equipment, or plumbing/electrical issues to the maintenance department.

Staff Training:

• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and hotel standards.

Record Keeping:

• Keep records of cleaned rooms, linen usage, and staff attendance.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 5 years experience.
