Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• Maintain clean, comfortable and well-presented guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms and assigned public areas to the required standards.
• Make beds, change linen, replenish amenities and report room readiness.
• Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and follow hygiene procedures.
• Report maintenance faults, damaged items and unusual room conditions.
• Follow lost-and-found procedures and respect guest privacy and belongings.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and coordinate tasks with supervisors and front office.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE with at least 1 year of housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, safe chemical handling and room preparation.
• Attention to detail, honesty, teamwork and a courteous manner.
• Ability to carry out the physical duties of the role and work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
