Job Title: Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Summary

• The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue generation through strategic sales and marketing initiatives, developing and maintaining corporate relationships, increasing room occupancy, promoting all hotel services, and positioning Bourdillon Hotel & Suites as the preferred hospitality destination within Abuja and its environs.
• The role requires an energetic, target-driven, and results-oriented professional capable of developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:

• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
• Source and secure corporate clients, government agencies, NGOs, embassies, airlines, travel agencies, event planners, and private organizations.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and direct marketing.
• Prepare and submit competitive corporate proposals and negotiate favorable business contracts.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
• Conduct regular sales visits and presentations to prospective clients.

Corporate Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing corporate clients.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of client concerns.
• Organize client appreciation activities and maintain an updated corporate database.
• Follow up on all business leads until successful closure.

Marketing & Brand Promotion:

• Develop promotional campaigns to increase awareness of the hotel’s products and services.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Team to promote hotel offers, events, accommodations, restaurants, and conference facilities.
• Represent the hotel at exhibitions, networking events, trade fairs, and business meetings.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and recommend strategies to maintain market competitiveness.

Revenue Generation:

• Promote room bookings, conferences, banquets, restaurants, outdoor catering, and event services.
• Maximize revenue opportunities across all hotel departments.
• Upsell hotel facilities and premium services to guests and corporate organizations.

Reporting & Administration:

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly marketing activity reports.
• Maintain accurate records of sales leads, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closed deals.
• Prepare revenue forecasts and marketing performance reports.
• Update management on market trends and customer feedback.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support hotel promotional events and special marketing campaigns.
• Assist in developing new hospitality products and packages.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance shall be assessed based on:

• Monthly revenue generated.
• Number of new corporate accounts secured.
• Value of contracts successfully closed.
• Occupancy growth attributable to marketing efforts.
• Client retention and satisfaction.
• Timely submission of marketing reports.
• Achievement of assigned sales targets.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 / month.
