Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a hospitality consultancy company established in 2009, specializing in providing expert services to small and medium-sized hotels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Kitchen Assistant

Location: Ijebu-ode, Ogun

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in basic food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
• Prepare simple dishes under supervision, such as salads and sandwiches.
• Ensure ingredients are properly washed, stored, and organized.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment after use.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in food storage areas.
• Follow hotel hygiene and food safety regulations at all times.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and inform supervisors when restocking is needed.
• Organize and store ingredients properly to prevent spoilage.
• Assist in unloading and storing food deliveries.
• Help chefs during busy service hours by fetching ingredients and handling simple tasks.
• Ensure kitchen tools and equipment are readily available and in working condition.
• Assist in plating and presentation of food as required.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO certificates with 2 years of experience
• Candidates must be residents of ijebu-odu and surrounding environments.
• No Accomodation please.
