Job Title: Hostel Porter (Male and Female)

Job Summary

• We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Hostel Porters.
• The ideal candidates will provide front desk support, ensure smooth day-to-day hostel operations, maintain discipline, and deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit of residents and visitors to ensure security and orderliness.
• Maintain accurate logbooks/registers of hostel activities.
• Assist residents with inquiries, directions, and basic needs.
• Report promptly any misconduct, damages, or unusual occurrences to the supervisor.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations with fairness and professionalism.
• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception and common areas.
• Support the hostel management team in daily operational tasks.
• Work in shifts (One day on and one day off) to provide 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of OND, NCE, HND, BSC Qualification.
• Previous experience in hostel, hotel, or facility management roles is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle conflict and maintain discipline.
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to details.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must reside within Akure, Iara Mokin, and the environments.
