Boomplay is a music & video streaming & download service developed and owned by Transsnet Music Limited. The service was first launched in Nigeria in 2015 by TECNO Mobile. Boomplay currently has over 60 million Monthly Active Users and over 60 million tracks with offices in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Cote d’ivoire. The service is available on web, Android and iOS.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Host Recruiter & Operations

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Job

  • This position entails recruiting, training and management of hosts to execute both online and offline campaigns for various operations purposes.
  • This role is responsible for developing strategic direction for In-App operation. Its primary focus will be to bring on series of hosts into the platform.

Responsibilities

  • To recruit qualified live streaming hosts from various resources, including host targeting, host audition and more.
  • To provide training sessions for both new and proficient hosts based on their actual performance to boost content quality as well as other key operations metrics on the platform.
  • To manage a team of hosts and be responsible for their activity, retention as well as performance.
  • To develop resources for content production organizations such as local media or MCNs.
  • To execute both online and offline campaigns for various operations purposes.
  • Daily operational data analysis

Qualifications

  • Five years of working experience in media, PR, TV station or key account manager positions, with at least one year of experience in an Internet company.
  • Result-driven, self-motivated, energetic team player, and has excellent communication skills.
  • Data sensitive, with basic data analysis skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Required Competencies and Attributes:

  • Be Smart
  • Being able to articulate on his/her business layout, including business target, common/proven ways to attain the target.
  • Quick learner, being able to learn about new business based on his/her prior experience.
  • Execution. Being able to take lessons from prior projects and update his/her methodologies into the new one.
  • Communicative and self-motivated.
