Job Title: Home Economics Teacher

Location: Awka, Anambra

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Home Economics Teacher to deliver practical and theory-based lessons that equip students with essential life, nutrition, and home management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Home Economics in line with the approved curriculum
• Plan and deliver practical and theory lessons effectively
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and instructional materials
• Conduct continuous assessments, tests, and examinations
• Supervise practical sessions and ensure safety in the classroom
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations
• Maintain discipline and promote good hygiene and life skills
• Participate in staff meetings and school activities

Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. / B.Ed / NCE in Home Economics or related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience
• TRCN certification is an added advantage
• Good practical skills and classroom management
• Strong communication and student engagement skills.

Salary
N120,000 per month.
