Job Title: HEMM Technician

Location: Okpella, Edo

Job Summary

• We are looking for a HEMM Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy earth-moving machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• his role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on HEMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Identify and diagnose technical issues with machinery and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with supervisor.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety rules and regulations as per Company guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members during maintenance.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Engineers.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

• Trade Test or National Diploma in Mechanical Enginering or relevant Technical Discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.

Skills And Competencies:

• Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments
• Knowledge of quality audit/ testing processes for cement
• Knowledge of the cement production process
• Knowledge of ISO quality management systems
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quantitative analyses
• Problems solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of computer
• Technical skills
• Teamwork skills
