Job Title: Heavy Duty Technician

Role Description

• We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain heavy machinery and equipment at our company located in Ode-Remo, Ogun State.
• The ideal candidate should have experience diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that equipment operates efficiently. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of operating and driving heavy-duty machines as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy-duty equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Operate and test heavy machinery to identify problems and verify repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and part replacements.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years experience.
• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Ability to operate and drive heavy machinery safely.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license (and any required equipment operation certifications).

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 / Month.
