Job Title: Healthcare Software Trainer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)

Role Overview

• KadMap Systems Limited is seeking a contract Healthcare Software Trainer who understands how to use electronic medical records and health information systems and can teach authorised users how to operate the assigned applications.

Scope of Engagement

• The trainer will teach clients how to use the assigned healthcare software. Coding, software development and technical integration are not required.
• The role does not involve providing medical advice or making clinical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Train authorized client users on how to use the assigned healthcare software.
• Demonstrate relevant workflows such as patient registration, medical record management, encounter documentation and reporting, where supported.
• Explain Software features and routine tasks according to users’ responsibilities.
• Prepare user guides, practical exercises and training materials.
• Guide participants through common application workflows and answer questions about their use.
• Adapt training to the needs of healthcare and administrative personnel.
• Reinforce appropriate handling of confidential patient information during training.
• Assess participants’ understanding and identify areas requiring further instruction.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience using OpenMRS.
• Good understanding of the relevant software workflows.
• Ability to explain software features clearly to healthcare and administrative users.
• Strong communication, presentation and teaching skills.
• Ability to prepare practical training materials.
• Experience in health information management, medical records, healthcare administration or clinical practice is desirable, depending on the assignment.
• Understanding of confidentiality when handling healthcare information.

Software Knowledge Required:

• OpenMRS.
