We are major Lafarge, Dangote, and Bua cement distributors across Nigeria. We distribute products across the 36 states of the Federation including FCT Abuja. In addition, we haul products from the factories in Obajana, Kogi State, Gboko, Benue State, Ibese, Ogun State and numerous distribution and sales depots. We also operate own strategic depots across the country with a goal to make the products available to Project sites and end user locations. We are long standing Lafarge Cement & Dangote Cement Distributor respectively. Thus, we are very familiar with both the industry and the markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Location: Ewekoro, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide detailed psycho-social report on drivers well being
• Conduct RHM and Patrols
• Conducting RTA & RCAs and ensuring documentations are updated
• Supervise the enforcement of safety guidelines in line with company’s policy and procedures and instigate adequate sanction for violators
• Monitoring and analysis of safety performance dashboard
• Coordinate and arrange HSE related training and programmes
• Knowledgeable about key logistics safety KPIs
• Ensuring Quality Inspection of Assets and equipment
• Contributing measures to assure personnel safety.

Qualifications

• Academic Requirements: B.Sc / HND in Engineering / Science any related course
• HSE Level 1&2 certification from a reputable institution
• 3-5years experience in Logistics, cement industry and haulage company.
• Candidate must be within age 25-35yearsand preferably Male applicant
• Applicant must have at least 3-5years experience in management of incidental/accident exposures
• Good Leadership skill, excellent communication and problem
• Ability to manage drivers and Health and Safety Team
• Proven track record of improving health and safety performance.
• Applicant should reside around Ewekoro and its environment.
