Lead British International School Limited (LBIS) is a Co-educational model school established by intelligent and seasoned academics and educational administrators who commonly share the vision of giving back to the nation’s educational system. LBIS caters for day students from crèche to 18 years and currently has over a thousand students with 400 boarding students in its secondary school. The School is staffed by qualified and experienced teachers, with modern ICT infrastructure and both are located in an outstanding environment, highly conducive to learning. LBIS currently has campuses in Abuja and Ibadan. Job Title: Heads of Section (Early Years, Primary and Secondary)

Location: Osogbo Campus, Osun

Job Overview

• The Heads of Section is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Section operations.
• S/he is to work according to the school’s mission and vision in collaboration with the Head of School and other Deputy Heads of Section.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

• Prospective candidates must have a good First Degree in a relevant field of study;
• A Master’s Degree or PhD in Educational Management are desirable;
• Must have minimum of 8 years of cognitive teaching and 5 years’ experience in senior leadership role in a reputable international school;
• Must be familiar with British curriculum.
• A strong background in curriculum leadership;
• Knowledge of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) trends;
• Must have the ability to inspire and motivate others through leadership;
• Must demonstrate commitment to team work as well as being able to work independently;
• Must be a technology expertise, with a strong understanding of the role of technology in 21st century learning environments;
• Must have effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills;
• Must have an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Must be hard working, able to multi-task and work long hours;
• Ability to motivate and collaborate with other administrators, teachers, and leadership team member;
• A results-oriented, with demonstrated skill in using data to inform and improve student learning and school programs;
• Self-motivated, energetic, and creative.
