We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Teacher

Location:  Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for school growth and improvement.
• Introduce innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Lead school initiatives and programs to maintain a high educational standard
• Ensure adequate supply of teaching and learning materials.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and school activities.
• Organize parent-teacher meetings and encourage parental involvement in education.
• Ensure that the school operates in compliance with educational policies and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of school activities, students, and staff performance
• Implement discipline policies and procedures in line with school regulations.
• Address and resolve students’ concerns effectively.
• Supervise and support teachers, ensuring adherence to educational standards and best practices.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement among teachers and students

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in general education, teaching, or specialized subject is preferred
• Valid teaching certificate
• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching children of varying ages
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with the use of computer programs and report writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices
• Demonstrated ability to implement processes, and procedures and follow compliance
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
