Job Description

• We are seeking the services of a Head, of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations.
• This critical leadership role will be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and optimal performance.
• The Head of Supply Chain will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of our supply chain.
• This position will oversee the entire flow of goods and services, from procurement and sourcing to inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain performance, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Supply Chain team, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall objectives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the organization’s overarching business goals.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct long-term supply chain network design and optimization.
• Manage and optimize the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high-quality materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Implement and manage effective inventory control systems and processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Experience with SCM and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Experience with international supply chains is a plus.
