Job Title: Head of School

Description 

• Develop and implement the school’s educational vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with educational standards and best practices.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of educators, staff, and administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the academic curriculum, assessment practices, and student progress monitoring to ensure high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of nursery and primary school students.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including supervision of staff [academic & non-academic], budgeting, resource allocation, facilities management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, stakeholders, and community partners, promoting open communication, parent engagement, and a supportive school community.
• Support the professional development and growth of staff through mentorship, training initiatives, and performance evaluations to enhance teaching quality and staff retention.
• Implement effective student support services, behavioral management strategies, and pastoral care programs to promote the well-being and holistic development of students.
• Lead initiatives for school improvement, innovation, and educational excellence, fostering a culture of academic rigor, creativity, and student achievement.
• Collaborate with school board members, educational authorities, and external organizations to enhance the school’s reputation, partnerships, and opportunities for growth and development.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school environment that upholds child protection policies, health and safety standards, and ethical practices in accordance with educational regulations.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 3 – 5 years work experience.

Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 monthly.
