Job Overview

• We are seeking to appoint an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to lead its operations function and support the organisation’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organisation’s day-to-day operational activities.
• Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies and controls.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Establish and monitor operational procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Identify operational risks and work with relevant teams to implement appropriate controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
• Lead, develop and manage cross-functional teams.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Work closely with senior management to align operations with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure effective coordination between departments and timely delivery of business objectives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field with a minimum of 10 years experience. Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a bank or financial services company.
• Proven experience in operations management within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement, operational controls, compliance and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing operational strategies.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving effective service delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Salary
N1,000,000 monthly (negotiable).
