Job Summary

• Nimojen Group Limited is looking for an experienced and ambitious General Manager / Head of Nimojen TV to take ownership of the growth, development, and overall operations of our digital TV and media platform.
• This is an opportunity for a media leader and builder who can shape the platform’s identity, build a strong team, develop compelling content, grow audiences, and turn Nimojen TV into a credible and commercially successful media brand.

What You’ll Lead

• Overall strategy and operations of Nimojen TV
• Content, programming and audience growth
• News, editorial, production, digital and creative functions
• Recruitment and development of a high-performing media team
• Presenters, reporters, correspondents and content contributors
• Original programmes, interviews, documentaries, news and entertainment
• Digital audience growth and platform expansion
• Media partnerships, sponsorships and commercial opportunities
• Budgets, resources and operational performance
• Industry relationships, innovation and strategic growth

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a senior media executive, not simply a technical or editorial specialist.
You should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcasting, Media Studies or a related field with 8 – 10+ years’ experience in television, digital media, broadcasting, journalism or entertainment.
• Proven experience leading media operations or teams
• Strong understanding of television and digital content
• A track record of building audiences and developing compelling programming
• Strong leadership, business and strategic management skills
• The ability to build teams, systems and partnerships
• Strong industry relationships and networks will be an advantage

Remuneration

• Compensation: Competitive (N600,000 – N900,000 monthly), based on experience.
• Performance Bonus + HMO
