About the Role

• An exciting opportunity to work with this great organization that fosters a family ambiance. The person in this role will be responsible for all ICT infrastructure, projection, planning, policies, and integration to Education

What will you do?

• Create, agree, communicate and implement the ICT strategy and plans for the school.
• Analyze the requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies that may be of benefit to the school and incorporate them into plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Provide leadership on all ICT operations and infrastructure within the School, and ensure that a standard technical support framework is available, including the management and delivery of services.
• Manage relationships with vendors and create cost-efficient contracts.
• Manage ICT expenditure in line with the approved budget.
• Define and implement ICT policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with the school’s needs.
• Be present in staff meetings and related activities, and attend workshops to keep up-to-date with ICT issues.
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Give orientation and support the daily operational activities of the ICT department and school.
• Provide professional advice and technical support to staff students and others in the school community.

About You

• You have a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master’s
• You have a minimum experience of 5 years working in IT Management.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You have Planning and organizational skills.
• You have Strong Leadership skills
• You can work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred:

• Experience working with educational organizations.
• Experience working with social impact organizations or not-for-profits.
