Job Title: Head of Finance

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Description 

• The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring financial stability, and supporting the strategic decision-making process.
• This role involves directing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecasting while maintaining compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.
• The Head of Finance will provide leadership to the finance team and work closely with senior management to drive the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business goals.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, board, and senior management.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audit processes.

Cash Flow & Risk Management:

• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure the company’s liquidity requirements are met.
• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential financial challenges.
• Oversee treasury functions, including managing debt and investment strategies.

Cost Control & Efficiency:

• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to optimize business processes and drive profitability through better financial management.

Financial Systems & Technology:

• Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and technologies to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
• Ensure data integrity and enhance the use of financial software tools for analysis and decision-making.

Experience

• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Finance Manager, Finance Director).
• Proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with financial systems and technology implementation.
• Strong background in managing a finance team and working with senior executives.

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 monthly.
