Job Title: Head of Finance (Female)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• The Head of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of the financial records, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, providing appropriate financial advice to management as well as development of internal control policies and procedures for the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Account Receivables, Account Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and submit timely monthly management accounts
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close out process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Ensure regular inventory count
• Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of four years’ experience required.
• Accounting Degree or equivalent
• ACCA/ACA certification
• Between the ages of 30 – 40 years
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of Generally Acceptable Accounting Practices and Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Working knowledge and experience of an accounting applications.

Key Competencies:

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proven working experience as an Accountant in the manufacturing sector
• Experience with preparation of financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software use and administrative skills.

Proposed Remuneration
N250,000 Gross Salary per month and other benefits.
