We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Driver

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and experienced Head Driver to oversee driving operations, ensure the safe transportation of staff and materials, and manage the organization’s drivers and vehicles. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, excellent driving skills, and a high level of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of all drivers
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of staff, patients, and goods as required
  • Assign driving schedules and routes effectively
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, clean, and roadworthy
  • Monitor fuel usage, vehicle logs, and maintenance records
  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies
  • Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly
  • Train and mentor drivers on safety and operational standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • Valid Nigerian driver’s license
  • Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Good knowledge of Warri and surrounding areas
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good understanding of road safety regulations
  • Must be disciplined, punctual, and dependable.
