Group Manager

Job Summary

As our Group Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing multiple teams and their operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and driving performance to meet organizational objectives. This role is crucial in coordinating cross-functional activities, developing team capabilities, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple teams effectively, providing direction, mentorship, and support to team leaders and members while fostering a collaborative work environment and develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and team performance across all supervised groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall productivity and coordinate with other department heads to ensure alignment of group activities with organizational objectives and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning across teams to optimize operational efficiency and drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the groups while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to promote professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in team management or leadership roles, with demonstrated success in managing multiple teams.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with strategic thinking capabilities and proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
