Norsworthy Farms and Agro-Allied Industries is a farm located in Delta State and currently has over a thousand hecters of palm fruit and a 10 ton/hr processing mill located in Akwukwu-Igbo area of the State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Maintenance

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• To compile all daily, weekly and monthly maintenace report of production equipmernt.
• To ensure reduction of fleet downtime by providing speedy res`cue to distressed equipment.
• To ensure optimal operations of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintain work flow by monitoring equipments of the process, settling processing variables, observing control points and implenmenting cost reduction, faciliating corrections to malfunctioning within process controls point
• To ensure all maintence are carried out in daily bases and repairs as per preventive maintenance culture of the company.
• To ensuer the mill runs at the higest possible processing efficiency.
• To give all processing equipment monthly report and filed to date. To cordinate schedule on equipment maintenance and repairs including preventive mechanical and electricalmaintenance.
• To ensure all aspect of line changeover within minimum downtime.
• To adhere to safe working practice and training colleagues at work.
• To ensure machine spare parts are available in the stores.
• To ensureparts installation are carried out efficiently .
• To ensure company policies and guidelines on maintenance are adhered to
• To keep all records of approved and defectives parts of equipment.
• Ensure all logging of downtime via manual/automated system providing accurate site management information.

Requirements

• HND / B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in production plant or preferable mill processing plant.
