Job Title: General Manager

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Summary

• This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Calabar.
• The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including sales and operations.
• The successful candidate will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, developing strategies to increase efficiency and profitability, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives
• Oversee daily operations, including sales, services, and administration
• Drive revenue growth through sales and tailored marketing strategies
• Manage office budgets and forecasts
• Supervise and motivate staff across multiple locations
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. A master’s, PGD or relevant certifications and training is an added advantage.
• Proven track record of success in a senior management role, preferably in the transport/logistics industry or hospitality and tourism.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience and a valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with the local terrain (Calabar) and its environs
• Integrity.
