Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused professional to lead our Cargo Business in Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader with proven expertise in air cargo, logistics, and revenue generation.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our cargo operations, driving profitability, and positioning the cargo unit as a major contributor to the airline’s overall growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow cargo revenue and market share
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across domestic, regional, and international markets
• Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders, exporters, logistics companies, and government agencies
• Oversee end-to-end cargo operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance
• Optimize pricing, capacity utilization, and service offerings
• Drive financial performance, cost control, and profitability
• Lead and develop a high-performing cargo team

Requirements

• Extensive experience in air cargo, logistics, or freight operations
• Proven success in revenue generation and business development
• Strong understanding of NCAA, ICAO, and IATA cargo regulations
• Demonstrated leadership in operational and commercial management
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills
