Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent, experienced, and safety-conscious individual to fill the role of Gas Plant Supervisor.

Job Summary

  • The Gas Plant Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the gas plant, ensure compliance with safety regulations, supervise staff activities, and maintain efficient plant operations to meet organizational goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the gas plant to ensure smooth and efficient activities.
  • Monitor loading and dispensing of LPG products.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Coordinate and supervise plant operators, attendants, and other plant staff.
  • Conduct routine inspection of plant equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of stock movement, sales, and operational reports.
  • Monitor gas levels and coordinate timely product replenishment.
  • Report operational issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Ensure all operational equipment is functioning effectively.
  • Enforce discipline and professionalism among plant staff.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams and external regulatory bodies when necessary.
  • Ensure customers receive quality service at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in LPG/gas plant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of LPG safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Good leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing is an added advantage.
