Job Title: Front Desk / Billing Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Front Desk and Billing Officer is responsible for receiving patients and visitors, managing patient registration, processing bills, and collecting payments while ensuring excellent customer service and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and attend to patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Register patients and update their information in the hospital system.
• Schedule appointments and direct patients to the appropriate unit.
• Prepare and process patient bills for consultations, investigations, procedures, and admissions.
• Receive payments and issue official receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and patient information.
• Reconcile daily collections and submit reports to the accounts unit.
• Handle patient inquiries and escalate complaints when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc. Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
• Previous experience in a hospital front desk or billing role is an advantage.

Skills:

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic accounting and computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
