We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all fleet activities, including scheduling, inspections, servicing, and dispatch of vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor and ensure proper usage, condition, and cleanliness of fleet assets.
• Implement and enforce preventive maintenance schedules in collaboration with the maintenance team.
• Track and report on vehicle/equipment downtime, fuel consumption, repair history, and fleet performance metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date fleet records, including logs, licenses, insurance, inspection certificates, and service history.
• Supervise fleet drivers, operators, and mechanics, ensuring compliance with safety policies and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with all mining, transport, and environmental regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing fleets in a mining, construction, or heavy-duty operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of heavy mining equipment (e.g., dump trucks, excavators, loaders).
• Experience with fleet management software and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of mining safety standards and vehicle inspection protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
