Job Title: Fleet & Logistics Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Description

• The Fleet & Logistics Officer will assist in managing the day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with various departments, handling documentation, and supporting the logistics team to maintain high operational standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Fleet Management:

• Assign and schedule vehicles for daily operations.
• Maintain records of vehicle usage and maintenance schedules.
• Oversee driver coordination and compliance checks.
• Record fleet performance data.

Logistics Operations – Nationwide Distribution:

• Track deliveries and update logistics movement reports.
• Coordinate product dispatch and delivery schedules.
• Support communication with third-party logistics providers.
• Maintain delivery records and reporting documentation.

Travel Management:

• Assist in booking flights, accommodation, and transport.
• Maintain travel records and expense documentation.
• Support compliance with travel policies.

Raw Materials Operations:

• Track movement of raw materials from suppliers to the factory.
• Assist in verifying deliveries and documentation.
• Maintain transit and inventory records.
• Support coordination with transporters and warehouses.

Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
