Responsibilities / Tasks

• Support the Country Manager with monthly reports;
• Ensuring compliance to IFRS and accounting practices within the business;
• Dealing with KPMG on audit-related and tax matters;
• Compliance Officer adherence and support;
• Ensuring adherence to local (Nigeria) statutory regulations;
• Monthly reporting to local Management as well as GEA Group.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 5 year’s work experience after articles;
• Should ideally have managed a group/team – minimum of 2 year’s management experience
• Needs to have experience in preparing financial statements according to IRFRS;
• Needs to be a certified Accountant (either CIMA or ACCA membership);
• Taxation experience, i.e. preparing annual tax returns;
• Articles at a big-4 Audit Firm preferable;
