Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Anambra

Job Summary

• The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the finance department and management with in-depth financial analysis, modelling, and reporting
• This role involves analysing financial and operational data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions, improve profitability, and support strategic planning within the cable manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to track performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis for new projects or business initiatives.
• Conduct detailed product line, customer segment, and project profitability analysisInvestigate cost drivers and work with the costing team to understand manufacturing variances.
• Assist in preparing board packs, investor presentations, and monthly management reports, translating financial data into clear, insightful commentary.

Requirements

• At least 2 years proven track record of finance analysis build-up.
• Certifications on CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), or
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is an added advantage.
