Job Description

• Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong project management and project finance expertise to oversee the company’s financial operations while supporting the planning, execution, and financial control of engineering and system integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage cash flow, financial reporting, and working capital requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and financial models for engineering and automation projects.
• Implement project cost control mechanisms to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Support management with financial analysis for business decisions, investments, and expansion opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Improve financial systems integration with project management tools.
• Build and maintain a high-performance finance team.
• Provide training and guidance on financial controls and project finance practices.

Person Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration is an advantage.
• 3–6 years of Solid experience in finance or accounting.
• 3–5 years in project finance or project cost management.
• Experience in engineering, construction or technology project related environments is highly preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and project budgeting skills
• Knowledge of project financial controls and contract finance
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Monthly Net Remuneration
N250,000 – N500,000 / Month.
