Job Title: Finance Associate

Job Description

• Our client is looking to hire a Finance Associate who will be responsible for building the company’s financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics, as well as preparingbudgets and financial reports that outline the company’s financial position regarding income and expenses

Responsibilities

• Building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports that outline the company’s financial position regarding income and expenses
• Aiding with payroll administration
• Reviewing financial reports and managing budgets to ensure accuracy.
• Overseeing and assisting in processing all payments, accounts payable, and research and reporting discrepancies as required.
• Identifying financial and non-financial risks, and recommending actions to mitigate those risks.
• Assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
• Managing and documenting accounting records.
• Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions.
• Capital structure and comparable company analysis.
• Processing requisitions and other business forms, checking account balances, and approving purchases.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (2:1 or above) in Accounting, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Chartered Accountants, MBAsand any other corporate membership will be an added advantage.
• 3-5 years corporate experience performing similar or inter-related tasks.

Skills:

• Organisation and time management skills
• Ability to display initiative and analytical thinking coupled with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must have knowledge of accounting and proficient in financial management software.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
