Job Title: Finance Assistant

Job Description

• We are seeking a smart, dedicated, and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Nasarawa State.
• The successful candidate will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial and accounting records.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense records.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with payroll administration and statutory remittances.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial analyses using Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Support budgeting and cost-control activities.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
• Relevant work experience in a Finance or Accounts role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Smart, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be willing to relocate to Nasarawa State.
