We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Sales and Collections Officer

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales through field visits, manage customer accounts, and ensure timely collections of payments.
  • Expanding our customer base, increasing revenue, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
  • Conduct field visits to potential and existing customers to promote Koolboks products and services.
  • Identify sales opportunities and generate leads to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and personalized service.
  • Negotiate sales terms and pricing agreements with customers to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collect payments from customers and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and collections using company-provided tools or systems.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for market penetration and expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Uphold company values and customer service standards in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer service role, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with sales CRM software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ilorin and surrounding areas as needed.
