Job Title: Field Agent – Cooperative Collector

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• Daily collection of contributions from members.
• Field-level onboarding and KYC of new contributors.
• Submit daily remittance and reports.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with cooperative members in the community.
• Collect daily contributions from assigned cooperative members accurately and transparently.
• Conduct field-level onboarding of new contributors, including proper KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
• Ensure timely submission of daily remittances to the Supervisor or designated officer.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on contributions, collections, and field activities.
• Promptly escalate any discrepancies, challenges, or risks to the Supervisor.
• Support the implementation of cooperative initiatives at the grassroots level, including savings mobilization and loan administration.
• Uphold ethical practices and transparency in all member interactions and financial transactions.
• Convert and onboard new members into theCooperative system.
• Educate members on the use ofdigital savings platform.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure daily thrift contributions are made.
• Provide daily reports and feedback on field activities through assigned digital tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy and timeliness of daily contribution collections.
• Number of new contributors onboarded and verified through proper KYC.
• Compliance with remittance and reporting timelines.
• Reduction in errors, discrepancies, or unremitted funds.
• Positive community feedback and trust ratings.

Requirements

• OND or equivalent qualification (prior experience in field collections, sales, or community engagement is an advantage).
• Must reside in Port Harcourt.
• High level of trustworthiness, integrity, and accountability.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use basic digital tools for reporting and remittance submission.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
