Job Title: Fibre Optics Techincian

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fibre Optics Technician.The Fiber Optic Technician is part of the tech team responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic network systems within a 20 kilometer OLT coverage radius.
• The role ensures seamless connectivity and reliable technical services for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and networks
• Perform splicing, termination, and troubleshooting
• Respond to service calls and resolve connectivity issues
• Collaborate with sales and customer support teams
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and upgrades
• Implement system expansions and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards Skills & Attributes
• Strong technical knowledge of OLTs and fiber tools
• Dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Ensures service reliability and minimal downtime

Qualifications

• Minimum: Diploma
• Experience: 3 years (mid-level)
• Proven experience as fibre Optics Technician or in similarly telecommunications/network role.
• Good understanding of fibre optic principles, cable types, connectors, and network architecture.
• Ability to read technical drawings and network layouts.
• Good communication , teamwork, and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet with deadlines.
