Cometstar Industrial Gases Limited aims to produce argon, nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Our industrial gases aid the operations of several sectors including the pharmaceuticals, healthcare, power, oil, steel, manufacturing, Fire Service, and food and beverages sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Female Cashier

Location: Abule Oshun, Ogun

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate must be polite, honest, friendly, alert and attentive to details; and must possess an excellent customer service attitude. She is expected to reside within the Agbara or OPIC Estate axis.

Core Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with professionalism and courtesy
• Accurately collect and process payments and transactions.
• Address and resolve customer concerns regarding transactions in a timely and respectful manner
• Issue receipts, refunds and change
• Balance transactions at the beginning and the end of work
• Generate Daily Sales Report
• Track transactions on the balance sheet and report discrepancies

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND + a credit Pass in English and Mathematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cashier.
• Experience in a gas retail company is an added advantage
• Familiar with and able to operate cash drawer, cash counting machine, Point-of-Sales (POS) terminal, barcode scanner, and weight scale
• Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts and records
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
