George Houston Resources Limited – Our client, a Fashion Design Company located in Ajah, Lagos state, is recruiting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Designer

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties

• Researching current fashion trends and determining what consumers will like.
• Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
• Designing sketches for new products with a design team.
• Creating clothing patterns for mass production.
• Testing and deciding on fabrics, colours, patterns and textures for each design.
• Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, determining prices and managing marketing
• Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models.
• Communicating technical design information for customer samples.
• Working with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
• Selecting fabrics and trims.
• Overseeing the prototype sample process.

Qualifications & Requirements

• SSCE Certificate.
• 2 – 3 Years’ Experience in Tailoring
• Must be able to sow unisex outfit, Well Tailored suit , Owanbe outfit, Ready to wear outfit & Native wears
• Must reside in Ajah and its evirons.

Salary
N40,000 – N50,000 monthly plus accommodation.
