We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Apparel Designer / Instructor

Location: Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • IDMANN is seeking a creative, skilled, and experienced Fashion Apparel Designer / Instructor to design garments and train students or trainees in fashion design and garment production.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong practical skills, creativity, and the ability to teach and mentor aspiring designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop apparel collections or custom garments
  • Create patterns and supervise garment production
  • Teach students/trainees fashion design principles and sewing techniques
  • Train learners on pattern drafting, cutting, and finishing
  • Ensure quality control in garment production
  • Guide students in creative development and project execution
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe training/production environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion & Textile Technology, Fine & Applied Arts (Fashion Option) o related field
  • Proven experience in fashion design and garment production
  • Strong pattern drafting and garment construction skills
  • Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
  • Good communication and teaching skills
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.

Added Advantage:

  • Previous experience as a fashion instructor or trainer
  • Experience in bulk production or uniform production
  • Strong portfolio of previous designs
  • Certification in fashion design or tailoring.
