Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the role

• You will plan and run all farm operations to deliver quality produce on schedule and within budget, while keeping staff, assets and the farm secure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement seasonal farm programmes, from land preparation to harvest
• Prepare and control the farm budget
• Manage farm inputs, equipment, irrigation and pest control
• Lead, train and appraise Farm Supervisors
• Ensure produce quality and food safety standards are met
• Oversee farm security, health and safety
• Keep accurate records and submit regular reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Agribusiness or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years farm experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience managing commercial-scale farm operations and large teams.
• Strong leadership, budgeting and reporting skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel and Word).
• Willingness to be based on the farm.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
