Job Title: Factory Technician

Reports To: Factory Manager

Job Summary

• The Factory Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery in the furniture production facility.
• The role requires individuals with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and technical skills to ensure smooth factory operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain furniture production equipment (e.g., saws, sanders, CNC machines, etc.).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in factory machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on factory equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are in proper working condition.
• Work closely with production staff to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor safety standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as a factory technician in a furniture or manufacturing environment.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 monthly.
