The Research Industrial Park, the first of its kind in any University in Nigeria, is designed to translate into viable products the Research efforts of the University through the establishment of various industries in a dedicated Park with provision for all necessary infrastructural facilities such as Energy, Staff Housing and Security among others.

ABUAD Industrial Park consists of 121 units of industries purposely created to provide a crystalized productive working union between Afe Babalola University and Industrial Research Park as well as other functioning industries in Nigeria and beyond through strategic partnerships.

Job Title: Factory Manager

Location: Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti

Job Responsibilities

• To oversee facility operations and manage a team of production staff
• To schedule/perform maintenance on equipment as the need arises and ensuring compliance with safety standards to maintain a productive work environment.
• To supervise production staff, create work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate manufacturing activities.
• To estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways of reducing such.
• To evaluate staff performance and coach production teams.
• To ensure that finished goods meet quality control standards. To monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines.
• To prepare production reports and make recommendations to Management, and
• Must possess Leadership skills and Problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• The ideal candidate should have a B. Sc /HND in relevant field preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Agric Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Leadership or Supervisory roles in production facilities such as Food, Beverages and Recycling Factories.
• A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
