We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Loading Assistant

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles, moving them to and from designated storage areas.
• Verification and inspection: Check incoming and outgoing shipments against paperwork to ensure accuracy and inspect products for any damage or defects.
• Equipment operation: Safely operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to move and store materials.
• Warehouse organization: Place items in designated locations, ensure they are properly labeled, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Inventory management: Assist with stock counts, record inventory levels, and help manage warehouse stock.
• Team collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
• Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, wear appropriate safety gear, and report any safety issues or equipment malfunctions to a supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items regularly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Basic reading and math skills to interpret documents and count items.
• Experience operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is often preferred.
• Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments and inspecting goods.
