We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Iyaganku-Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify needed
• repairs
• Repair or replace damaged furniture, fixtures, and appliances in guest rooms and public areas
• Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, including after-hours
• emergencies
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of hotel grounds and exterior features such as
• swimming pools and parking lots
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
• projects
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and supplies used, and prepare reports as
• needed
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment and proper
• disposal of hazardous materials
• Participate in regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry
• standards and equipment advancements.

Requirements

• Trade Certificate from a Technical College, OND, or HND in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering, or Technical Studies.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining electrical installations and equipment in a hotel environment.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft word
• Working knowledge of Microsoft excel
• Team player.
