We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • The Facility / Maintenance Officer is responsible for the effective maintenance, continuous improvement, effective performance and safety of all company facilities.
  • Ensures smooth and efficient facilities services whilst maximizing facilities performance and optimizing facilities and maintenance expenses against pre-agreed targets.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and so on
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
  • Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
  • Drafting reports and making written recommendations.
  • Advising the business on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Record daily deliveries and take-outs to reconcile inventory
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory where available
  • Report to upper management on stock levels and issues etc

Requirements

  • OND in Business Administration, Facility Management or related field
  • 0 – 2 years proven experience as Facility Maintenance officer or similar role
  • Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
  • Organisation, time management, prioritizing and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
  • Working knowledge of estate facilities and equipment.
  • Good Analytical, Interpersonal & Communication skills
  • Outstanding Organizational and Leadership abilities.
  • Valid Driving license will be an added advantage.

Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
