Job Title: Export Clerk

Location: Lagos

Description

• Loading, unloading, and moving freight between delivery and storage areas as instructed.
• Adhering to weight restrictions, as well as stabilizing and guiding lifted freight with slings and hooks.
• Performing routine safety checks on freight handling equipment and adhering to safety regulations.
• Check export documentation to determine freight contents, scanning, documenting, and marking items for identification.
• Determine the method of shipment and prepare invoices and other shipping documents.
• Direct or participate in freight loading to ensure completeness of load and even distribution of weight.
• Install straps, braces, and padding to loads to prevent shifting or damage during shipment.
• Coordinate and supervise activities of workers engaged in packing and shipping merchandise.
• Attach address labels, identification codes, and shipping instructions to merchandise.
• Notify consignees or customers of the arrival of freight or baggage, and arrange for delivery.
• Keep and submit records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.

Requirements

• Minimum of BSc or its equivalent in the related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Export Clerk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 / month.
