Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible Heavy-Duty Truck Driver to join ourcompany.
• The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as Howo trucks, Foton, Tipper, Man diesel, Concrete transit mixer truck in construction companies and must be knowledgeable about road safety, vehicle maintenance and safe transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for the transportation of goods, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Transport loads safely to designated locations specifically Ikoyi, Banana Island, V.I while adhering to assigned schedules.
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Monitor the truck for mechanical issues and report faults promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, customers, and other road users.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid and appropriate Driver’s License for heavy-duty/commercial vehicle operation.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• trong knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong commitment to road and passenger safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended trips when required.
• Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and safety conscious.
